School's out for me, in for Evan. Seemed like a good reason to celebrate

Yesterday was the official end of my last class at Capella. Assuming I don't fail my final paper, and there's no rational reason to expect I would, I'll have my degree in hand in a few weeks.

A few months ago, Molly found out that Walking With Dinosaurs would be in town this week and bought Evan and I tickets as a way to celebrate the end of my school, his beginning Kindergarten, and the impending birth of the twins.

Before that, though, today was Poolesville Day, so Evan and I went into town to check it out. To spice it up a little, we celebrated International Talk Like a Pirate Day, ya scurvy dogs!

After a little while at Poolesville Day, we picked up the metro and headed into DC.

We got there a little early, so we browsed around and found the perfect stuffed animal souvenir.

We had absurdly good seats and the show was everything it was billed as being. The dinosaurs were really lifelike and the largest ones were taller than the second floor of our house. The torosaurus, the big version of the stuffed animal Evan chose, was larger than my car.

On the way home, Evan took advantage of the ride to have a nice nap.
